In a recent project I have taken photographs of a cavernous industrial space, dismantled the image, and built it back up print by print. Fragments of pattern and repetition in the building’s structure appear as puzzle parts becoming a whole, which then folds out upon itself to appear again as an impossible piece of architecture. The view from the inside looking out is as from outside looking in.
